Tia - 2D Animation Boot Camp

 My dream I was doing my work in class, and then it was time to leave, on my way out, I oddly danced in the hallways like that one scene from the joker😂😂😂😂. I was the only one at school, except for 3 people but I couldn't make out their faces. Then I got on the bus and when I was close to my destination, I put my cellphone in my bag, and then I got off... at Limpopo, near my home. I got off and walked slowly to my house, there were clear skies and sunshine, then the alarm went off...for real...My alarm rang and I woke up to get ready for school. - Tia Kekana

 Week 7.....Freakin horrible/ Challenging... We started the week by watching a documentary about Dreams and how important they are...as well as how they affect our lives on a daily basis. Then we were given the task to write about our own dreams. I forgot my dreams half the time but i remembered a recent on last night, I'LL mention it on the other blog.  We also did the upside down drawing in Mr Marks class...it was supposed to challenge the analytical side of our brain. It was not fun at all😂😂but completed it nonetheless. On Friday we did the film appreciation test and it was actually okay...WHY AM I SO CALM ABOUT THAT????😂😂😂 Anyway,crazy week... but challenging as well, which is really good. -Tia Kekana.

 Hey Guys!!! First of all...I was able to finish my cursive...YAAAY!😅It sure wasnt easy though but I did it. This week wasnt a normal school week per say... first of all, we went to an animation conference meeting thing...which wasnt really bad, they offered us some drinks and snacks and were given very valuable information...however,it was increasingly hard/ tough to sit through it all because WE WERE HUNGRYYYYY!!!!😭😭We were told that it was going to take only 2 hours but it took like 4 hours...and plus the travelling, we basically took the entire day. We immediately  made food and ate after coming back...But overall, it was really kind of our teachers to make that trip for us, especially our class teacher. Throughout the rest of the week, we mainly did character expressions/ posture drawing with Mr Mark...and another dose of digital literacy with Mr Kuben. OH and I was able to finish my Pendulum swing aaaaaaaand my Pizzaaa!!!!! and we capped off the week by watching a mov...

 Hey Creatives!!! Back here with another update of the 2D animation boot camp!!!Yaaaaaaaay😂... So week 5 was basically 2 days because we were given a break for the rest of the week. Regardless...we still did quite a lot, we had to finish our pendulum swing and our cursive worksheets😭😭😭. We were given morem because it was basically a 7 day free school week thing....So yeah, fun stuff. For real though, the work they give us is truly working because I see progress, and through progress, I will get better results! Other than that, we did 2 point perspective with Mr Mark and it was actually not easy at all. We had to think of a way to draw a room in 2 point perspective...including the objects in it, which was admititly hard, but then again...we learn through hardships and we are here to learn anyways, so I welcomed the challenge and managed to draw a hallway in 2 point perspective. It was not easy but I learned a lot through that. Those 2 days and the rest of the entire week was jus...

 This week has been somewhat..stressful. We were given a lot more work that we could handle.  On Monday, we were taught about the importance of timing,basically having a schedule for everyday tasks in order to manage ourselves better and be able to have a profound and discliplined life. The after that we had to do a speech. I was concerned because we didnt follow the brief in the way the lecturer wanted us to...however we were able to  do the speech regardless. Everyone gave an exemplary speech but there were a few notes that our teacher commented on...about using our natural voice and not to "give a performance" while executing the speech. With that said, I decided to be serious on my speech and use my natural voice as best I can, but...that didnt turn out well because after the speech,I was told that I didnt have  an expression on my face, nor did I have "feeling" to it. I was like..."freakin hell man!" I should have just done the speech MY WAY to begin ...

 Hello fellow compadres! Congradulations,you found yourself back here to once again hear me brag about myself😂😂😂, with that said...lets get into WEEK 3!!! Week 3 has been a fraugulent mixture of hardship and FUN FUN FUN. We started the week with learning about basic speech from watching a video of who I view as the greatest of all time... Martin Luther King Jr. We were given an assignment to right a speech about ourselves but in HIS way of speech in order to make it intriguing and inspirational...as a way of engaging with our audience while finding out more about ourselves in the process, which is cool, but the work load is as advertised...YO!🙆🙆🙆   Anyway, on the following days we learned about shading and perspective with Mr Mark..(a lesson I've been searching for, for years😭😭😭...Thank you Mr Mark!!! truly awesome stuff.
