2D Animation ...My last thoughts.

The end is near... NEMISA- 8 week training programme...WOW, I cant believe its actually over. Throughout the past 2 months, a lot has happened. A lot of life changing experiences, a lot of challenges and a lot of...well...AWESOMENESS!😂 The work is divided into 4 categories or perhaps...4 classes. -Film Appreciation -Drawing -Digital Literacy -2D Animation Each one of those classes had their own challenges and I of course thoroughly enjoyed animation and some aspects of drawing. Film appreciation was actually pretty interesting. I found it overwhelming and yet intriguing as to how we had to dissect hidden meanings and aspects of a movie. Digital literacy was general computer knowledge infused with complex approaches. I met a lot of creatives...it was comforting to be around so many weirdos because I finally felt at home.😂 The instructors and teachers are genuinely kind people, willing to guide us not only with school work but also life in general. All in all...the experience has ...

My thoughts on The Dream Speech, because why not?

The Dream Speech... We were advised to do it in the same format as Martin Luther King did...Which is okay, but it kind if derived us from the purpose/ concept of our actual dreams as we didn't have the option to talk about all the struggles that brought us to the ideal of achieving our dreams in the first place...and I personally believed that it was something that didnt really need to be written, but spoken about because its something that comes directly from us... I think that is what made us make a lot of mistakes regarding that.

2D Animation Week 8

So on this week we had a pretty heated discussion on gender equality on Monday. We were given sheets of paper concerning that topic.  Then we did conceptual drawing with Mr Mark and it was actually pretty good. We were told to drawn from the ideas that were presented and we did just that...It came out really good. On the other days, we learned more about digital literacy and the animation principles...as well as storyboarding and script writing. We also did more on the ice cream thing on adobe illustrator and that was about it. It was pretty fun to showcase our ideas and freely express our imaginatio together as a class...which was honestly really cool... but other than that, we didnt really do much, we just had a lot of work to complete.
